The Proof is in the Details! My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous, quiet, spiritual getaway while attending a wedding in Taos. We stayed in the "Romantic" room where every little detail was tastefully and beautifully presented from the huge shower to the radiant floor heat, to the beautifully appointed furnishings to the charming kiva fireplace to even a black "makeup" wash cloth! The main house where an incredible breakfast was served (I highly recommend the spinach, mushroom frittata) by the chef and host extraordinaire, Chad, is quaint, cozy and most definitely relaxing! The B and B is themed after the women artists of Taos and we so enjoyed reading about these amazing artists in a book strategically placed in the room (another awesome detail). We so enjoyed our weekend and cannot wait to return!

The Perfect Retreat in TaosI stayed here over the weekend (Friday-Sunday) and had a gorgeous room (the Diva room) with a lot of space, a fireplace, and a bathroom with a walk in shower that has heated floors. The wonderful staff and service make you feel as if you are the only person staying there and because it's a quiet spot, you can relax and enjoy the area. With views of the mountains and the quietness of the area, it gives the illusion of isolation however, the Plaza and restaurants are a very short walk away. This IS THE HOTEL to stay at in Taos! Once you stay here, you'll never want to stay anywhere else.

Jewel of a Bed and Breakfast in Taos!My daughter and I recently stayed at this jewel of a B&B. Recently renovated and tastefully appointed, we didn't want to leave our room! And, Chad treated us like we were the only guests there! Palacio de Marquesa is the "real gem" to be found in Taos!

Such a wonderful alternative to the standard hotel chains. Peaceful inn with themed rooms about inspirational women of New Mexico. Modern, clean designed rooms with large comfy bed, cozy fireplace and impressive artwork. The Architectural Digest magazines in the room says it all. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with grand trees, gardens and fountains. The breakfast brought to our room in a large basket was also delicious with house specialty options that surpassed expectations. Chad was an excellent host to this charming oasis in walking distance of the Plaza. Will definitely return here on our next trip to Taos!

Great Quiet Hotel in TaosWe found this place on line and loved it. It was about a 15 minute walk into town but nice and peaceful. The room was very plain but comfortable I would have liked to see one big colorful picture on the wall. Large bathroom, nice separation between that and the closet and front door.
The breakfast was different each day, nicely prepared and small portions. We did find the lounge not to be very cozy, could have done with an afternoon wine and appetizers to get people in there. Nice to sit in the garden area, more comfortable seating perhaps? The staff were very helpful, I would highly recommend if you like a comfortable, peaceful place to stay after the hectic, people filled downtown.

Beautiful Property and RoomsJust left after a 2-night stay. Beautiful grounds and common area. Stayed in the Modernist room; plenty of room for two of us and super-clean. Quiet property at night. Breakfast was delicious, and service from Chad was excellent. It is an easy walk to the plaza area, but we chose to drive...easy parking in downtown Taos. Highly recommend this property, and we would absolutely stay there again!
